PALM BEACH WOOL RUG CLEANING
Wool Rug Cleaning In Palm Beach, Jupiter, TequestaThe comfort wool rugs provide is without equal: thanks to their role as the 'armor' sheep put on to defend themselves against the elements, wool can make even the coldest winter night feel warm and cozy. Likewise, the softness of the fabric is something you could write a novel about, given proper care – wool rugs are a mainstay in homes whose occupants spend a lot of time on the floor. And have we mentioned their ability to fight off fire and liquid spills?
Unfortunately and paradoxically, the last point is also what causes many wool rugs to get extremely dirty. Why? Simple: their owners feel as if the rug can take care of itself and end up thoroughly neglecting its maintenance. The results of this are bound to be felt eventually: a dirty, smelly and uncomfortable rug that nobody wants to spend time on or even see. If an unkept wool rug sounds like a story you know all-too-well, let us help you get it back in order. Just because wool rugs are so durable doesn't mean we'll treat them rough – you won't have to point out how much your wool rug means to you and why you'd like to get it back in one piece. We have a cut-out method in place for cleaning wool rugs and we never deviate from it in order to ensure each customer gets the very best service. |

Wool Rug Cleaning
Our wool rug cleaning starts with an inspection of various specific factors, with two of them being the most important: the type of wool and the weaving technique used. There are many types of wool coming from different types of sheep (also differing in methods of processing), just as there are seemingly countless weaving techniques. These two factors can make a big difference when deciding what cleaning method we'll use – this is why we won't be able to give you a step-by-step without inspecting the rug first. The cleaning itself is first done dry – dirt and grime is blown and vacuumed out of the wool to prevent it from becoming embedded into the fabric once we start applying moisture.

When the rug has been "blown dry", it's time to move onto the washing itself. We don't mind washing each wool rug entirely by hand, but sometimes, there simply isn't any need to – quite a few wool rugs can handle machine cleaning exceptionally well and come out intact. Afterwards, it's time to dry the rug using the appropriate method that will prevent the fabrics from shrinking or becoming rougher.
By the time we return your precious wool rug to you, it should be absolutely pristine without even a trace of grime or stains – if it isn't, we'll gladly repeat the procedure as many times as necessary until the results we get are satisfactory.
